There are many ways to adapt to the new reality caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Like several other industrial initiatives, the BOOST 4.0-project is also affected by the pandemic. While some events are being rescheduled due to the situation, other events are being held remotely. This was the case for Innodata, a large congress focused on Big Data & Analytics, originally planned to be held in Barcelona. At the remotely held event Josep Escrig, manager of the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data group at i2CAT Foundation, presented the BOOST 4.0-project and the role of Big Data in the future of the manufacturing sector.
